DELICIOUS CUPCAKE RECIPE!!

The other day I made some yummy scrummy cupcakes. They were absolutely delicious, so here's the recipe......

INGREDIENTS:

  • 150 grams golden caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 150 grams self raising flour
  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon semi-skimmed milk
  • 150 grams unsalted butter
ALL THE INGREDIENTS YOU NEED
  1. First of all you will have to preheat the oven to gas mark 3, which I believe is 170C and 325F. Also you will have to line you baking tray.
    A LINED BAKING TRAY
2.  In a bowl beat the butter and the sugar till it is light and fluffy. Remember: The lighter the mixture the better.

3. In a measuring jug or a glass whisk the eggs, vanilla esseence and the milk.
WHISKING THE EGGS IN A GLASS

4. A little at a time add the eggs, vanilla and milk to the beaten butter. Remember: DO NOT RUSH THIS AS YOU MIXTURE WILL CURDLE(if it does curdle by accident, make sure to add 1 tablespoon of flour to fix it).
ADDING THE EGG MIXTURE TO THE CAKE MIX

5. Once all of it has combined add the sifted flour and the sifted cocoa powder.
SIFTING THE COCOA AND THE SELF-RAISING FLOUR

6. Fold all of it in to make sure all the air bubble remain in the mix. If you mix it like normal all the air bubble will escape.
ALL THE COCOA AND FLOUR HAS BEEN FOLDED INTO THE MIX
7. Add the mix into the individual cupcake cases. Use and ice cream scoop to help you have even cupcakes. And cook them for about 20 mins. Remember: You can use a skewer to see if your cupcakes are done, just insert the skewer into the cupcake and if it comes out clean your cupcake should be ready.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

INGREDIENTS:
50 grams Butter (has to be room temp.)
100 grams Cream cheese
250 grams Icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice

SORRY- I FORGOT TO PUT THE CREAM CHEESE IN THE PIC :(
1.In a bowl put your butter and you icing sugar in a bowl, and whisk with an electric whisk for 3 mins ( it's better to this with an electric whisk because doing it by hand can be very time consuming)

2. Than add your cream cheese and lemon juice and begin to whisk for about a minute. And there you have you frosting done.

3. With the back of a spoon dollop some of the cream cheese frosting on top and crumble some cake on top.
MY FINAL RESULT!!(THEY WERE YUMMY)
IF YOU WANT YOU CAN ADD ADDITIONAL DECORATIONS~IT'S YOUR CHOICE!!
I REALLY WANT TO EAT ONE NOW, BUT THERE ALL GONE

So I hope you guys enjoyed reading this and have a go at making them because the are really easy and taste AMAZING, not to mention they look B-E-A-UTIFUL.

Lots of love,

FLORAL BLOUSES!

Floral blouses, well what can I say other than they are AMAZING. I'm in love with floral blouses and I think it is really trending, well sort of, especially because it's coming towards summer. I own quite a few floral blouses as anyone could rock it.

I personally like wearing them with blazers, usually of a subtle colour because the blouse is kind of the "statement" item of clothing you are wearing, so it'd look weird if you had a patterned blazer on top.

This is an example of a floral blouse, but its not mine it's my sisters, however I love it. It would look amazing with a nice pair of black jeans, or if you want to look smart you can even wear it with skinny black trousers and a black blazer on top, making you look smart but also standing out from the crowd. This blouse is from H&M but it was bought a long time ago so I wouldn't be too sure if it was still there, But you can get lots of similar floral blouses from literally anywhere.

You can also get these from Primark for a lot cheaper. I have got this one:

This blouse for me is also really nice, but not as nice as the black one. The thing that stands out for me has to be the collar, although you can't see it much in this picture, I really like it because its white and it stands out from the floral print. This would also look nice with some jeans. I really like to wear it with either navy coloured jeans or maroon coloured jeans. You could also wear a blazer with it ~ an oversized boyfriend style blazer would look really nice and you can get them from New Look which is good so yeah! However I don't think you can find this blouse in Primark stores anymore as it was last years summer collection, but you can like the other shirt find similar designs in Primark or any other store.

Lots of love,
